I started Quiet Coffee Roasters at my home in 2022, after starting my roasting journey in 2019 on a popcorn popper. During a trip to Portland, Oregon earlier that year, I went on a Third Wave Coffee Tour and became obsessed with learning more about specialty coffee. My curiosity led to me buying an espresso machine because no coffee shop would hire me and I was set on becoming a barista. Long story short, I went down a rabbit hole and decided to roast because I was spending too much money buying roasted coffee to dial in espresso.
